In the context of the State of Public Health Emergency, the Legal Education Board (LEB) hereby issues the following additional advisory in relation to its earlier advice on the COVID-19 pandemic:

1. All law schools in the country are encouraged to judiciously exercise their discretion insofar as suspension of classes is concerned, taking into consideration the health advisories issued by proper authorities and their Local Government Units;

2. Specifically, suspension of on-site classes in all law schools in the National Capital Region is extended until April 12, 2020 pursuant to the March 12, 2020 declaration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte;

3. Further, it is reiterated that all law schools are urged to implement precautionary measures to protect the health of their stakeholders. These measures should include the conduct of alternative modes of instruction for off-campus learning to ensure minimal disruption to studies; and,

4. All law schools are advised to coordinate with the LEB, if necessary, for guidance in off-campus learning.
